extended day and enrichment information
The following registration forms are for currently accepted families.
Discovery Enrichment Program
The Discovery Enrichment Program is designed to reinforce and enhance what a child is learning in Kindergarten and to offer added experiences that strengthen age-appropriate academic and social skills. Students who enroll in the program will attend from 11:30am to 3:15pm every school day and must already be enrolled in WSD Kindergarten. Discovery Kindergarten is conducted on site by Weilenmann kindergarten teachers. The teacher to student ratio will not exceed 1:20.
The cost of Discovery Enrichment is $3900 per year, plus a one-time registration fee of $50. Families with more than one child will receive a 10% discount on the additional children. There are 60 spaces available. Tuition is payable in monthly installments, with the first payment of $390 due on August 15. As per Utah state guidelines, school fee waivers do not apply to this program.
Enrollment is limited and children will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. Those wishing to enroll their children in the Discovery Enrichment Program should complete the form and return it, along with the $50 registration fee to the following address.

Extended Day
Extended Day at Weilenmann will begin at the close of each school day (after 3:00pm) and run until 6:00pm. This program is available to students in K - 8, and is designed to provide families with the flexibility of extended hours and a quality experience for their child. During Extended Day, children will have an opportunity to benefit from quiet homework time, snack, and activity and free play time.
The cost of this service is $5.00 an hour and will be charged to the half hour. Parents will be billed monthly and will be charged $20 for late payment. There will be a one-time registration fee of $50. As per Utah state guidelines, school fee waivers do not apply to this program.
