Park City 4th of July Parade
You are all invited to join students, parents and faculty in marching in the Park City 4th of July Parade.
Dedicated volunteers have been working for weeks on a spectacular float to proudly represent WSD as the newest member of the Park City Community.
When: July 4, 2010
Where: Swede Alley
The float will arrive at the parade at 10:15 am and is assigned position #53, the floats will be lined up in order on Swede alley. All participants will need to arrive at the float at 10:45-10:50 am for a parade start time of 11:00 am. Please note, you must park at walk over to the float, no cars will be allowed on or near Swede Alley.
We will assign a few of the K-1st graders to ride on the float, all others need to arrive prepared to walk the parade route. Be sure to have proper shoes, water supply and sun block for the walk. We will have a few spots in the truck bed if some of the younger kids fade out.
Attire will be Weilenmann school spirit wear – WSD tee’s or sweatshirts, WSD tree hugger tee’s or WSD 4th of July tee’s can be purchased from Shawn Mick (shawmick@mac.com) and will be available for purchase at the float. We want everyone in spirit wear so we are easily identified as belonging to the float, especially the kids and it shows how proud we all are to be part of such a terrific new school. All other attire should be red, white and blue.
